download (8)Elimination of breeding ground

When an individual notices the existence of any pests, he should have an idea of how to eliminate them. This is not only when they are discovered but also as a preventative measure. The first step towards this is by looking for the possible breeding ground and eliminating it. Stagnant water and existence of bushes are a possible breeding ground for mosquitoes and other pests. Drain all the stagnant water around a compound and also clear all the bushes where rodents will always run to hide from Certified Pest for bird control.

Proper garbage management is necessary in the elimination of pests. Pests such as cockroaches and rats breed on garbage. A community should ensure they have a proper garbage disposal system. This also allows fresh air to flow throughout the environment and avoid many diseases.

Rats also breed on sewage. Therefore the municipal council should ensure it provides its people with a closed sewer system which cannot be accessed by rats. By doing this, that particular breeding ground has been eliminated.

Destroying infested plants

Plants that have been infested by insects may be destroyed in order to contain the pests. Some of the insect species don’t die instantly and cannot be done one by one especially when they have invaded a whole farm. These mainly happens when a certain pest becomes resistant to a particular pesticide. It therefore evolves and cannot be destroyed by the normal pesticide. In such a case, the only option is to destroy the whole plantation.
